Minh arrived in Denmark in the middle of 2020, and applied to Talent Fellowship as soon as he found out about it. In his opinion, it is a great talent programme helping him to increase his practical experience, strengthen his professional network, and gain a better understanding of the labour market in Denmark.
“I believe that for students to get a stable job and develop a sustainable career in Denmark, five elements are required: knowledge, skills, practical experience, professional network, and understanding of the labour market.
I am able to gain the first two through my studies and learning, but the remaining three are difficult to obtain from the university. As a participant of the Talent Fellowship Talent Programme, I am able to gain practical experiences from company visits, workshops and listen to sharing from industry experts and seniors. Additionally, I can expand my professional network and add new relationships, such as employers, directors, managers, entrepreneurs, experts, seniors, students. These relationships are valuable for me in my future career.
Last, but not least, with the guidance of experts as well as participation in programme workshops and internships, I understand what Danish companies need from their employees, so I can build my personal brand myself professionally, learn more knowledge that I still lack of, practice skills that I am weak, and improve myself. The dream of having a sustainable career in multinational corporations in Denmark is my motivation to be part of Talent Fellowship.”
